We are seeking to appoint 1 Graduate Assistant who is a keen Netball player or coach, to work within the Sports Department and to assist within the Girls Boarding House. To commence 27th August 2019; fixed term contract to 3rd July 2020 with a possible extension through the summer 2020 working for the Ratcliffe College Summer School.
Ratcliffe College is a highly successful Independent School that was awarded Excellent in all categories in our last Inspection. We have recently expanded our sporting facilities to now include a second astro turf as well as a new running track and flood-lit netball courts. A brand new Fitness Suite is scheduled to open in Spring 2019.
This post would be ideal for a graduate who is considering a career in Education or Sports Coaching. You will gain extensive experience through being an integral part of both the Physical Education Department and the Boarding Staff Team. There will be opportunities for you to make a significant input into the broader life of the College, based on your particular strengths and interests.
The Role of the Graduate Assistant is split into two main areas:
Within the Sports Department, taking responsibility for School teams as well as assisting with PE and Games lessons across the age range of the College.
Within Boarding, working as part of the duty team assisting with activities, trips and supervision in the evening and at weekends.

• be proficient in Netball and any other sports.
• demonstrate an interest in pastoral care
