The Governors of this Outstanding Secondary School are seeking to appoint five Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their excellent team.

Salary Scale: Scale 1A Point 3 

Reporting to: Headteacher / Class Teacher / other employee within school

Hours of Duty: 30 hrs  per week, term time only

Start date: 1st September 2021

Duration of contract: Fixed term contract until 31st August 2022


Duties will include providing support to classroom-based teachers, working with pupils on an individual and small group basis to help with their learning. Lesson cover may also be required after training in this area. The candidate must be a recent graduate looking to gain school experience with the view to becoming a teacher in the future.

St Patrick’s RC High School and Arts College is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic school without sixth form situated in Eccles, Salford. It is a voluntary aided state school that operates under the Diocese of Salford. The school will provide 900 places for students aged 11-16, when fully subscribed.
