Graduate Tutor / Boarding Assistant

For September 2021 Cheltenham College Preparatory School seeks to appoint a Resident Graduate Tutor for a fixed period of one year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who is considering a career in teaching, or looking to gain valuable experience before starting their PGCE. Successful applicants will be accommodated on site and will relish the opportunity of immersing themselves in the day-to-day running of a thriving boarding school.
As well as providing classroom support, the successful candidate will offer support in sporting activities during the school day and assist with pastoral duties in the boarding house in the evening.
Hours: This will be a term-time position (34 weeks) with an average of 50 hours per week to be worked as agreed with the Deputy Head (Operations) and the Head of Boarding.
Salary: Depending on age, the salary for this role will be between £15,927 and 16,975 per annum. The cost of accommodation and all meals (during term time) will be deducted.
The Prep School is situated on the same campus as Cheltenham College in a beautiful setting with its own sports fields, lake and stunning views of Leckhampton Hill. The Prep is fully co-educational with approximately 400 day and boarding pupils ranging from 3 to 13.
