The successful applicant will:

  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
  • currently hold or be eligible to hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card; and
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person to provide assistance with general college grounds and maintenance work. It would be an advantage to have prior experience with timber measurement and cutting, and power tools. The ability to obtain a Positive Notice to Work with Children (Blue Card) is essential.


St Benedict’s College is a developing co-educational secondary college which opened in January 2013. In 2018 the College has in excess of 600 students. The College provides a connection to secondary education for the students of St Benedict’s Primary School and other students in the growing communities of Mango Hill, North Lakes, Griffin, and the wider region. It is master planned as a six stream Year 7 to Year 12 College. Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   38

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   Hourly rate range $27.65-$28.82

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
