About the role:

This is an exciting time to join Outcomes First Group in this new role that will be responsible for helping our young people achieve their full potential through employability and careers.

Reporting to the Group Head of Outcomes, the Careers & Employability Lead will be responsible for designing and delivering our Group wide commitment to supporting young people and adults with their future. You will help them to identify their next steps after leaving school and ensure they have access to further education, training or employment opportunities.

You will actively participate in promoting the children and young people’s pledge with particular drive for the fourth one: ‘we will support your future and your next adventure’.


Who we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who is motivated and committed to improving the lives of our young people and adults by ensuring they get access to amazing opportunities

You will have a background in delivering careers or employability guidance to young people and adults and be confident to create training packages on the subject matter. 

You will have a strong understanding of the Gatsby benchmarks and feel confident to advise on their implementation in SEN schools.

It is essential you an extensive knowledge of the labour market and the barriers of entry faced by young people with additional needs.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to build lasting relationships with external and internal stakeholders. You will be liaising with a wide range of audiences, including young people, foster parents, colleagues and local authorities.
