Job overview

As we expand our group we are looking to recruit a Group Education Lead who is passionate about providing meaningful and progressive educational opportunities for young people that have barriers to learning.

At Spaghetti Bridge, we celebrate our unique three stage curriculum approach to learning, which embeds the necessary 21st century skills that our children need in order to lead fulfilling lives in a fast changing society.

Our creative, individualised approach to learning, is centred around well-being and skills for independence. From the time our students arrive, we assess their individual interests, passions and desires to build a project based curriculum to meet their needs. In so doing, we ensure they are well prepared to achieve their goals and succeed.

The Group Education Lead will focus on the quality and outcomes of education provision across the Group. They will provide leadership on all matters related to teaching and learning, school improvement strategies as well as curriculum implementation and planning.

They will also hold responsibility for overall outcomes of our students and will use data to analyse and evaluate outcomes in line with quality assurance processes.

The postholder will be part of our Operations team and will work closely with relevant colleagues to ensure that our education approach is implemented in line with our unique approach.

Requirements of the post include:

  • Qualified educational practitioner who is able to demonstrate significant experience in delivering high quality education provision
  • Leadership and management experience within a relevant setting
  • Ability to design and implement effective development plans
  • A commitment to delivering creative, high quality and innovative provision
  • Ability to build effective professional relationships that foster collaborative working
  • Experience & understanding of our student's wide range of needs

The postholder will work remotely and is required to travel regularly to schools across the group and other relevant settings.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they are committed to ensuring the safety and welfare of students and that they will act with integrity at all times.

We are strongly committed to providing high quality professional development for all our staff. As part of a new and growing group, we will be able to offer significant opportunities to work in collaboration with colleagues in order to develop innovative teaching practice.

The well-being of our staff is an important priority; therefore we provide opportunities to ensure we value their hard work and dedication and promote a healthy work-life balance. We are constantly reviewing our practices to ensure that our staff can focus on what matters: providing a rich environment in which children and young adults can learn and thrive.

We recognise that our schools all serve their own communities and are unique, but we also insist that our schools follow Spaghetti Bridge ways of working which ensure that there are high expectations and equality of opportunity for all our pupils.

Early application is encouraged, we may seek to appoint prior to the closing date.
