We are now recruiting a Group Leader to lead and manage the SEN Advisory Teams and to contribute to the strategic leadership of the Education Service as a member of the SEN Leadership Team.
Whether you are a leader in children’s services, or an educationalist looking to move in to local government, you will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in the education sector. You will have a passion for championing children and young people who have SEND, to secure their well-being and ensure they achieve the best possible outcomes.
You will have effective interpersonal skills to engage a wide range of stakeholders across education, social care and health to ensure a holistic support service is provided for children, young people and their families.
You will provide strong management and leadership, to motivate and develop staff teams in making a difference, promoting effective practice, conveying clear and consistent messages to parents and professional partners, including schools and settings.
Your strong leadership skills will develop and deliver strategies and working practices that promote Bromley’s shared vision of ‘Inclusion’ across the continuum of provision from SEN Support to Statutory services.
