An exciting opportunity has arisen to support widening participation and outreach for learners in Greater Manchester with the goal of increasing participation of students from disadvantaged backgrounds into Higher Education. The National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) is a highly targeted collaborative outreach programme focussed on working with Y9-13 pupils from areas which have lower participation in higher education than expected based on KS4 attainment.

NCOP is a highly targeted collaborative outreach programme and the Hub will be based at Salford City College however all post holders will work across Salford City College. Trafford College, Greater Manchester and may be required to travel nationally.

The successful post holder will be required to:

 develop and deliver higher education outreach across the Further Education Colleges within Salford and Trafford NCOP hub;

 ensure activities are effectively monitored and evaluated;

 work collaboratively with colleagues from across a number of institutions;
