Job overview

Are you a passionate, caring and dynamic leader with energy and a breadth of skills to enable every single student at Haven High Academy to reach their full potential? Do you have the dedication and enthusiasm to re-energise a dynamic and cultural secondary academy in the heart of rural Lincolnshire?

We are recruiting for exceptional talent for Haven High Academy, an oversubscribed 11-16 mixed Secondary Academy with over 1000 students on roll.  Haven High Academy aims to build partnerships with not only students and parents but also the wider community including sporting and music organisations as well as businesses and services.  We offer a comprehensive, broad and flexible curriculum to students of all abilities in a caring, supportive environment.  We believe that the academy shares the hopes and aspirations of all parents and carers for their children – happy, secure, well-educated and rounded individuals who are well prepared for their future.

We know that educational leadership is not for the faint of heart, and we actively promote an inspiring and empowering culture. If an unrelenting passion for students’ success drives you to achieve, you understand our mission and we want to talk to you.

You:

• Have incredibly high expectations for yourself and others

• Accept that only the best is good enough

• Believe that all children can achieve

• Are excited by being part of a dynamic team

We offer a very competitive pay and package including:

 • Unparalleled CPD opportunities, both at individual academy and across the BWAF Trust

• Exposure to leading edge SI practices and professionals and the chance to make a bigger difference with a fantastic family of principals and staff

• Leadership Pathways

 • A generous recruitment package

You will have access to excellent professional networks and support and BWAF will actively encourage and support your professional development by providing opportunities to work across the Trust. If you are an experienced senior leader in a secondary setting, with a successful track record of sustained improvement and a determination to maximise the opportunities available then this role offers an excellent opportunity to challenge yourself in a new environment.

Applicants must be highly motivated, driven and committed to high quality teaching and learning. They should have the creativity and vision to inspire and lead change but also the focus to ensure successful outcomes are reached. You must be confident and positive with a ‘can-do’ attitude that can inspire and engage students, staff and the local community. You must display compassion and be familiar with holding staff to account whilst being accountable yourself. Above all, you will share our passion and belief that children, their learning and developing their potential is at the heart of all decisions.
