Head of Art and Photography (Maternity Cover)

We are looking to appoint an experienced and committed practitioner to lead our highly successful Art and Photography departments for a period of a year.  The right candidate will be a self-starter, who has a track of delivering excellent outcomes for students from key stage 3 to key stage 5. They will have detailed knowledge of exam board requirements, together with good communication skills to motivate and support colleagues within their departments. The successful candidate will have a teaching portfolio primarily comprising Art (at key stage 4 and 5), with some key stage 5 Photography. 

The Art department has recently moved into newly built and purpose built facilities. The additional responsibility of leader of the overall Creative Faculty, encompassing Performing Arts and Design and Technology, may be available for the right candidate.
