King Edward’s School is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual for the role of Head of Art to lead, promote and deliver an exceptional programme of academic and co-curricular Art.
King Edward’s is a highly creative school and art sits at the very heart of this. The study of art provides a vital form of expression and opens up additional ways to experience and appreciate the world around us. King Edward’s seeks to provide an exciting and stimulating environment in which boys can develop their critical, practical and creative skills, and explore their artistic potential.
The school teaches IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma (although IB experience is not essential for this post), and the salary scale is significantly above the state sector.
