Head of Business Studies - for September 2018

The ability to teach Economics maybe an advantage and/or to act as BTEC quality nominee.  

 We seek to appoint a well qualified, experienced and outstanding classroom practitioner who has the vision and determination to lead this key area forward.  The successful candidate needs to be:  

•Enthusiastic and passionate about Business Studies.. •Committed to raising standards across KS4 and KS5.

 •Able to deliver high quality innovative and exciting lessons. 

•Able to plan effectively for high quality teaching, learning and assessment.

 •Able to motivate and inspire both students and teachers.

 •Able to support staff in other settings locally. • Well organised and efficient  

•Prepared and able to teach both BTEC and A Level qualifications.

The Frances Bardsley Academy is a thriving, oversubscribed and highly successful, comprehensive school for girls aged 11 – 18, with a specialism in the Visual Arts.  It is situated in beautiful grounds in the market town of Romford and was judged Good by Ofsted in January 2016.  We are part of the LIFE Education Trust  Further details and an application form are available from the school or can be found on the school’s website.
