Tes is supporting the appointment of a Head of Business Studies to join an academy based in Wandsworth.
About the role:
The academy is looking to appoint a Head of Business Studies to plan and deliver challenging and engaging lessons that instill a passion for learning. The post holder will have the opportunity to coach/mentor staff and work with other Heads of Business Studies across the network.
You will:
- be experienced in and have a good understanding of BTECs, particularly CNAT KS4 Enterprise and Pearson BTEC Extended Diploma in Business
- have had significant impact on student attainment
- be able to motivate and challenge learners of all abilities
- have the resolve and enthusiasm to make a real difference to the lives of pupils
- be committed to the academy's ethos of high expectations
About the School:
The academy is a mixed school with 870 students, ranging from year 7 through to sixth form. They adopt a holistic view to educating young people. Through their commitment to inclusion, equality and attainment, they prepare every student to be a pillar of any community.
In the academy's 2022 Ofsted inspection they were rated ‘Good’ in every category with real strengths in teaching and learning, curriculum breadth and personal development.
