Cove School is an aspiring 11-16, co-education, foundation school of around 1000 students. We have a highly supportive staff committed to providing the best education possible for our students. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Head of Chemistry. The ideal candidate will have up to date subject knowledge and a track record of success in maximising student progress.  

At Cove, we are determined to provide a practical, engaging and rigorous Chemistry curriculum that both enthuses students and enables them to pursue the subject to the full extent of their ability. As a school, we are friendly and welcoming, with a culture of collaboration and teamwork that creates a lively and stimulating working environment.  

The position is required for either April or September 2018. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Chemistry, to join a great science team. Our students in the past, routinely achieved excellent results both in triple science, and core and additional science. The curriculum area has strong links with local industry and organise highly successful, whole school STEM events. 

The school and science department have a good reputation for academic achievement and positive ethos. The school has made considerable strides to raise academic achievement in recent years, and we are determined, that together we will continue to move from strength to strength.

Cove School is a larger-than-average, co-educational secondary school for students aged 11–16, located in the north of Hampshire.
