Head of Chemistry / Possibility of Second in Science

Required for September 2019

Full time MPS plus TLR 2a £2,721

(with the possibility of Second in Science further enhanced TLR)

Do you want to teach bright, motivated and impeccably-behaved students in a dynamic and supportive environment? Have you got the ambition and drive to lead a department? We are looking for a leader in this curriculum area. The position of Second in Science will be considered during the process. Further details may be found on the school website.

Our Science team has an overall Head of Science in place with a team of ten staff. The sciences are taught as separate subjects at each Key Stage. Being able to offer multiple areas of GCSE Science or BTEC Applied Science at Level 3 would be an advantage. Our Sixth Form is the largest in the area; KS5 Chemistry teaching will account for a significant proportion of your timetable.
