SJI International seeks to employ an outstanding Head of Chinese. The Head of Chinese will work to ensure high quality Chinese learning outcomes for children by providing teaching and learning best practices within the framework of the school’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, Culture, and the International Primary Curriculum.
 

Key responsibilities include:
  ● To lead the Chinese Department in tandem with the ethos of the school
  ● To ensure that teachers and students enjoy a stimulating, challenging and enjoyable learning experience both in and beyond the classroom
  ● To maintain the high profile of the Chinese Department within the school and in the wider community.

Additional Requirements 

For all teaching posts the successful candidates will have a good first degree in their teaching specialism, a recognised teaching qualification and a proven track record as inspirational teachers.  Significant training and development opportunities are available for teachers (both in-house and through external providers) and the desire to take part in and contribute to collaborative school and personal development is essential. SJI International always seeks to employ teachers who are willing to become fully involved in the holistic life of the school.
