Our girls’ interest in this key subject speaks for itself and each year they go on to study a wide range of STEM subjects in Higher Education. We provide an outstanding range of facilities including two well-equipped dedicated computer suites and access to an impressive array of additional resources, including digital cameras, video recording facilities and a state-of-the-art music technology centre.

The ability to teach Computer Science across all Key Stages and up to A Level is essential, combined with first-rate organisational, team working and ICT skills. From September 2018, we will offer A Level Computer Science alongside our already established GCSE and KS3 courses, something that you will play a large part in developing.

Professional development and staff welfare

Our professional team of staff is Woldingham’s greatest asset, and we want to ensure that everyone is supported to work in an effective, enjoyable and fulfilling way. Staff Development is a high priority, with induction and mentoring programmes for Newly Qualified Teachers and new colleagues, plus Personal Professional Development planning for all colleagues.

Staff are welcome to use our range of outstanding facilities including the gym, squash and tennis courts and the swimming pool. Our Staffroom Committee organises regular social events, and individual members of staff have organised yoga classes and reflexology on site.
