Walbottle Campus is an 11 to 18 secondary school, with 1650 students, which occupies a large, beautiful site in the Tyne valley. It could be described as a city school in rural surroundings, housed in a fantastic, purpose built outstanding facility.
We are looking for a motivated and driven, experienced Head of Department, who is confident in their skill set to lead and set standards across the Mathematics Faculty.
You will be an established leader looking to develop their career in a school with drive and ambition which is looking to further raise outcomes for our students.
You will have experience in key stages 3, 4 and 5 you will provide inspirational, innovative and motivational leadership. You will have responsibility for embedding our Maths Mastery programme. This is an exciting developmental opportunity and it is anticipated that this position will provide you with invaluable leadership experience as part of your career journey.
