Due to continued expansion, Saltley Academy seeks to appoint a creative and inspiring Head of Design and Technology, who can lead and develop our successful department. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and be able to motivate pupils and staff through inspirational teaching and knowledge. Saltley Academy is a 11-16 comprehensive school in the heart of multi-cultural Birmingham. Saltley Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school in the West Midlands serving students between the ages of 11-16. The secondary school, situated in Birmingham has approximately 990 students on roll. It is part of the Washwood Heath Multi-Academy Trust.
Formerly Saltley School, Saltley Academy converted to academy status in 2015. The school has use of the facilities at Saltley Wellbeing Centre.
