Due to the relocation of our current Head of Drama this fantastic opportunity to join the outstanding Performing Arts Team at Crestwood and subsequently Invictus has arisen for January 2020.
Drama at Crestwood has an excellent reputation. The Drama curriculum is enriching and inspiring. All students study Drama at KS 3. Uptake and outcomes are strong at KS 4 and there is a clear pathway through to KS5.
Performing Arts at Crestwood is exemplary. The reputation of Drama and Music is renowned within the Trust, locally and beyond.
Our Drama and Musical Theatre productions are sold out year on year . Students have the opportunity to perform as part of the Trust at local theatres.
Such is the strength of Performing Arts at Crestwood that 5% of our Year 7 intake is now allocated to those students who excel in this area.
We are looking for an extremely talented individual who will be ambitious for our students and who will complement our Performing Arts team and take Drama at Crestwood to the next level.

The Crestwood School is a secondary school for children between the ages of 11 and 16. It is a coeducational establishment which was converted to academy status in March 2015. It is based in the town of Kingswinford, West Midlands, in Dudley. At present, the Crestwood School has around 645 students being educated at the establishment.
Crestwood School and Sixth Form exists to provide an unrivalled learning environment for the young people in our local and wider community. Through our teaching and pastoral care we aim to develop independent young people with a thirst for learning. We encourage students to strive to make more progress than is expected of them. We encourage students to strive to achieve more than is expected of them. Our students know, if they do so, they will achieve more success than is expected of them.
