Job overview

Strathallan School seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Head of Drama to found a new department and extend the development of Drama and the expressive Arts at the school. The post will require the teaching of A Level Theatre Studies, GCSE Drama as well as key stage two and three school pupils from age 9. The successful candidate will work with existing members of the Expressive Arts team and have overall responsibility for examination results and the full range of annual school productions. An ability to teach dance would be an advantage; enthusiasm for the development of dance is essential. The successful candidate must be keen to participate fully in the pastoral and extra-curricular life of this thriving boarding and day school and towards this end on-site accommodation may be available.
