Rugby School Thailand’s Senior School will open for pupils in Years 9, 10, and 12 in September, 2018.
Rugby School Thailand is the first overseas school partnered by Rugby School UK, and it will share Rugby UK’s ethos and ‘whole person’ vision for its pupils. Rugby UK will be involved in the recruitment of senior staff and will play a key role in formulating school policies and ensuring that the high standards of Rugby School are maintained.
As such, Rugby School Thailand, unlike most international schools, will be structured according to the very best of the UK independent school model, with a Pre-Prep, a Prep and a Senior School. The School will focus upon breadth of experience, character development and, of course, academic achievement.
The Senior School will share our 80 acre campus with the Pre Prep and Prep schools.
State-of-the-art specialist teaching buildings, spacious and comfortable boarding houses, and magnificent sporting facilities will stand Rugby School Thailand apart from other schools in South East Asia.
The Head of Drama at Rugby School Thailand will have the enviable task of building a dynamic team of teachers in the coming years. The successful applicant will also play a key role in the physical development of the Drama department, advising the Head of Senior School and architects on the design of the teaching and performance spaces. She/he will be a dynamic educator with extensive experience teaching Drama at Senior School level, including A Level. She/he will foster a love of Drama at Rugby School Thailand. The Head of Drama will demand academic rigour in the theoretical study of Drama, and will build an energetic performance culture among our students.
