HEAD OF ECONOMICS and BUSINESS STUDIES – September 2018

Skinners’ is a high achieving boys’ grammar school with an emphasis on exceptional learning, pastoral care and extra-curricular activity. Our pupils are intelligent, motivated, and a pleasure to teach.

We are looking for a talented and energetic Head of Economics and Business Studies for September 2018.

The successful candidate will:

  • offer dynamic leadership of the Department
  • have a transparent love of the subject
  • be an outstanding teacher at all relevant Key Stages (4 and 5)
  • be able to inspire and enthuse pupils
  • have excellent interpersonal, administrative and communication skills

Take up in Economics in particular is high and results are excellent at both GCSE and A level. Significant numbers went on to Economics related degrees at Russell Group universities in 2017. More details of the School are available on our website:
