Head of English and/or English as an Additional Language

A first rate and well qualified Head of Department is required for the 2018/19 academic year to join the number one, top performing independent co-ed college in the UK. The successful candidate will have the overall responsibility for teaching, learning and achievement within the languages department as well as providing professional leadership and support to colleagues and students to ensure excellent quality standards within the department.

We offer relatively small class sizes, a teaching environment where the students will challenge you intellectually and provide for an all-round enjoyable teaching experience.

Candidates with all levels of teaching and management experience will be considered. However, candidates must hold a degree or degree equivalent, in the relevant field.

A willingness to take an active part in the wider life of a busy boarding and day school is essential.
