Our last set of GCSE results in 2019 were outstanding with a Progress 8 of 0.33. Results in English were very strong: grade 4 and above was 84% and grade 5 and above was 63%. Students benefit from one-to-one feedback and advice on Y11 English Mock exams from English advisers working for our Trust at key points in KS4 which they find inspiring.

Our first cohort of A Level students received Centre/Teacher Assessed Grades in English Literature in August 2020/1 and the English Literature course is an extremely popular course in our sixth form.

We are determined to appoint a candidate who will fit well with our staff body and one that will exude the whole school ethos.
