An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding teacher to join our thriving and successful Trust to teach and lead the development of English at Langdon Academy. You will be able to point to evidence of your own highly successful GCSE English teaching as well as the impact of your leadership on your present and past pupils and colleagues. You will be able to demonstrate that your experience and expertise have prepared you fully to take on such a major role, encompassing Language, Literature and Literacy in one of London’s largest schools.
Langdon has consolidated its position as a very successful school, but that’s not enough. The other school within the Multi-Academy Trust (Brampton Manor Academy) is one of the highest performing schools in England and it is our collective responsibility at least to match that standard. Happily, with excellent staff in all departments, we’re making great strides forward and are now looking for an outstanding Head of English, with clear evidence of successful leadership already, to join us in that pursuit.
Langdon Academy is a large 4-16 school, with over 1700 students in the secondary phase, and is part of Brampton Manor Trust, along with Brampton Manor Academy (an outstanding 11-18 Academy).
This appointment is a golden opportunity to strengthen our team further with a new, talented and enthusiastic Leader, not only to lead English in all its aspects but to work alongside other subject leaders in the strategic development of the department and the school. If your training and experience have prepared you for such a role, we’d be keen to hear from you. You will be supported by dynamic colleagues and inspirational leaders who will assist you through the next stages of your professional development.
The scale of Langdon, the fact that it also has a primary phase, and its membership of Brampton Manor Trust provides considerable opportunity for the continuing development of our staff.
Please visit our websites at www.langdonacademy.org or www.bramptonmanor.org to apply and obtain further details about this role. All completed application forms must be sent by email to email@example.com.
Brampton Manor Trust is committed to the safeguarding of children. Enhanced DBS checks will always be carried out on new employees.
