Head of English Support, Taylor’s International School, Puchong, (Kuala Lumpur) Malaysia.
Contract: Two Year Contract.
This position is for a professional teacher holding corresponding qualification and experienced in working with non-native students. TISPC already employs a number of English support staff. Among other things, the Head of English Support will take on the following role:
- Monitor, evaluate and review team of English support staff.
- Create action plan to
- Train all staff in best practice re. English support.
- Weekly meetings with Head of Curriculum Support and School Counselor.
- Feedback to Heads of Sections.
- Degree from a reputable university (linguistics / pedagogical studies)
- Qualification: TESOL/TEFL/TESL
- 2+ years of experience of working with non-native students and young learners
- Mastery in exam techniques
- Knowledge of British National Curriculum System are highly desirable
Taylor’s International School Puchong (TISPC) is a new addition to the Taylor’s Education Group, Malaysia’s premier private education group which operates Garden International School, Nexus International Schools, as well as Taylor’s University. The Head of English Support will be responsible for ensuring that all children can access the curriculum to the best of their abilities and thereby make suitable progress.
