Acland Burghley School is looking to appoint an exceptional Head of Science from April, June or September 2018.  Our dynamic faculty offers a full range of courses from KS3-5, GCSEs and A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics as well as a L3 BTEC in Applied Science. Last year, our GCSE Science results had a VA score of +0.25. We have an experienced and committed team, including an innovative Lead Practitioner, and excellent facilities. This is an exciting career opportunity for an outstanding classroom teacher, who is now ready to lead others to make impact and to continue to raise standards across the Science Faculty. The successful candidate will be passionate about scientific learning and will have a strong commitment to ensuring that every child achieves the highest possible academic standards.
