We are seeking a highly-motivated, forward-thinking and passionate individual as Head of French. The successful candidate will be working closely with our established Head of Spanish, leading a small team in promoting the highest standards of teaching and learning to support students of all backgrounds and abilities. We value the achievements of all students and vigorously pursue excellence across our diverse and comprehensive intake; we believe this is best achieved by seeking challenge in learning and ensuring supportive partnerships exist, which create enthusiasm, stability and security in students. The Modern Foreign Languages department is an innovative department; we have high expectations for all our students and a relentless focus on pupil progress.
As a school, we value and prioritise the continuing development of our staff. This comes in a variety of forms: thorough professional development delivered in department time, weekly teaching and learning workshops, INSET days and through our close links with the Wolds Teaching Schools Alliance. As a member of the middle-leadership team, you will also have access to high-quality leadership training through regular subject leader meetings and the personalised training programme we offer our new leaders through our Teaching School. Within The Education Alliance Multi Academy Trust, there are also further opportunities to develop and progress.
