Head of Geography

We seek to appoint a talented and ambitious teacher to lead our Geography department. As the Head of Geography you will have the opportunity to shape an exciting curriculum, develop innovative teaching methods and develop a team of dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will show considerable initiative, leadership and innovation in the classroom.

• Has expertise in planning the progression of subject skills within individual and across sequences of lessons.
• Has a proven track record of great teaching that secures excellent outcomes for students.
• Has knowledge and understanding of the subject requirements for Geography.
• Can lead and manage the development of appropriate syllabi, resources, schemes of work, and teaching and learning strategies.
• Is kind
• Has qualified teacher status.
