Following a unanticipated vacancy, applications are invited for the following position for starting in September 2017 or shortly thereafter.

 

Head of Secondary Geography

 

Candidates should have experience in teaching the National Curriculum, and a willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities. Familiarity and experience with recent changes at GCSE and A Level are essential.

 

The successful candidate will be in charge of a two person department, in a school characterized by engaged and rewarding students who strive for top results.

 

Applications from single candidates are particularly welcomed. Overseas experience is an advantage.

 

Contracts are for two years in the first instance and include a tax-free salary, flights, furnished accommodation, health insurance and end of contract gratuity.

 

Given the lateness of the vacancy, we are also prepared to consider a temporary appointment (with a minimum commitment of one full term) from experienced department leaders.
