The Vacancy

We are looking to recruit a Head of History with the ability to teach across KS3/4.

You will teach effectively, securing progress and attainment for students that at least meets their individual targets by:

• Effective planning and preparation of lessons
• Good or better teaching in every lesson, following the Albion way CPD
• Setting high expectations for students, engaging, and motivating them and assuring a positive pupil behaviour
• Following the Albion Way CPD in consequencing poor pupil behaviour and rewarding positive pupil behaviour
• Undertaking a shared responsibility for assuring the well-being and safeguarding of students by a meticulous application of the academy's safeguarding policy.

The Albion Academy is located in the heart of Salford just 2 miles from Manchester City Centre. We provide high quality education to 11–16-year-olds from across the city. We are proud of our modern building with excellent facilities which were designed with learning and development in mind.
