City of London Academies Trust (Southwark Schools)

Salary £44,674 - £50,980 plus comprehensive benefits package

The City of London Academies Trust is passionate about raising aspirations and providing opportunities to all students to achieve their potential. We are seeking a CIPD qualified, experienced professional who is highly motivated, to lead the HR team and provide HR support across schools in the Southwark hub of the Trust.

You will work in partnership with senior leaders to deliver a compliant, professional HR business service for the Southwark hub, underpinning the Trust’s educational aims and development plans.

As a visible role model and champion of the Trust’s culture and values you will provide sound and creative professional advice to Executive Principal /SLT on all areas relating to Human Resources and be instrumental in ensuring that HR policies, programmes and practices are in place to deliver our HR Strategy.

This is a diverse role in which you will be required to visit all schools in the Southwark hub on an ad hoc basis, working to support them across a wide range of areas, from safer recruitment, performance, payroll and Employee Relations.

This is an exceptional opportunity to make your mark within a growing Academy Trust and grow your own team. The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified, with a good knowledge and understanding of HR policy and practices ideally in an educational environment. Strong experience in leading an HR team and managing change is essential, with the natural gravitas to influence at all levels, from Trustees of the Board through to teaching & support staff.

This is an all year round role but consideration will be given to flexible working.

Closing date is: 12pm Wednesday 11th July 2018
