The School is seeking to appoint a Head of Humanities and Year 4 class teacher ideally for the start of the academic year on 7th September 2022.  The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering Humanities lessons to girls in Years 4, 5 & 6, and for overseeing the coverage and supporting staff in Reception to Year 3 who are teaching Humanities.  In addition to teaching Humanities, the successful candidate will be a Year 4 Form Teacher and responsible for the delivery of Year 4 English, PSHEE and Maths.  He/She will be responsible for delivering high-quality, stimulating lessons that ensure pupil progress and value added.

Stormont School is a highly successful, independent girls’ preparatory day school in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire for girls aged 4 to 11 years.  Girls are prepared for many of the best senior day and boarding schools in Hertfordshire and London reflecting the high quality of teaching and learning and the opportunities the girls have to flourish.  The School has approximately 140 girls and 50 staff.
