This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, ambitious and innovative professional with excellent leadership skills who has the vision to shape and oversee Learning Support provision at our school and become part of the extended Senior Leadership Team. The post holder will lead the work of the Learning Support team to contribute to the raising of student achievement and will support the leadership of our Speech and Language and Autistic Spectrum bases. They will work with the Head, Associate Head and other senior colleagues, taking specific responsibility for developing, implementing and reviewing the Preston Manor School inclusion programme. The successful applicant will take specific responsibility for developing, implementing and reviewing the SEND and therapeutic intervention programme for students. The role will be multi-faceted and include sharing best practice and developing intervention strategies for use across the school. Although direct experience within SEN is desirable, for the right candidate, training and development can be provided in this area.
