Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School is rapidly expanding and we are now looking to appoint an ambitious, dynamic and hardworking Head of Mathematics for September 2019 to teach across the age and ability range. You will monitor and support the overall progress and development of the mathematics department, provide a motivating and structured learning experience to help students achieve their potential, and contribute significantly to raising standards of students’ attainment.
Our recent Ofsted inspection grading of ‘Good’ acknowledged the rapid improvements that have been made in the school over the last few years and we are now listed in the top 25% of schools in the Country. The school is a vibrant place of activity, inclusivity and kindness which allows children to flourish and grow in confidence.
Required for September 2019, due to growing pupil numbers, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified and inspirational Head of Mathematics to lead a successful, committed and friendly team to inspire students of all abilities to achieve their highest possible levels of attainment.
