Great Western Academy is a new academy which opened its doors in September 2018 with strong values based on Achievement, Care and Excellence. The academy is now heavily over-subscribed for year 7 and will open a Sixth Form of well over 100 students from the local area this September. This will include at least two Maths groups and a Further Maths class

We require a highly effective Curriculum Leader of Mathematics, whose practice is instrumental in ensuring that pupils, of all ages and abilities, achieve consistently strong outcomes. You will be an outstanding Mathematics teacher, who has the qualities to lead colleagues, securing the highest possible standards in teaching, learning. You will have the ability teach at all levels from years 7 to 13 and driven to ensure that students receive the best possible experience of the subject by bringing creative ideas to the classroom. We provide many enrichment opportunities based around our STEM agenda to inspire and motivate scientists and engineers for the future.
