We are seeking an experienced colleague who will lead the department in the next stage of its’ development. Outcomes at GCSE Music last year were strong, albeit with a small cohort of seven pupils, with 86% of pupils achieving A*- C grades. The pupil uptake at GCSE is rising, as is participation in extra-curricular activities.

The Hurst School is a successful and highly regarded school of 1000 students aged 11-16, situated within easy driving distance of Reading, Newbury and Basingstoke. The school enjoys a semi-rural location and sits on a large site with green surroundings.
