Park View is an 11-16 comprehensive school situated in Tottenham, North London. We have an absolute commitment to the Performing Arts and, despite the national curriculum reforms, we will continue to ensure that subjects such as music, drama and other creative arts subjects will always play a central role in our curriculum offer.
We are looking for a talented and committed musician and teacher with the ability to inspire our students to join the school as Head of Music. You will lead the curriculum development of Music throughout the school, with responsibility for the day-to-day running of the department, our extensive and wide ranging extra-curricular music offer and the academic progress of students.
To be successful, you must have experience of teaching across a range of Key Stages, with the ability to raise student achievement and add value within a Creative Arts curriculum, as well as knowledge and understanding of the current Music specifications at Key Stage 4. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching your subject is essential.
