Required for September 2019
A successful, popular and highly regarded school with around 975 pupils, The Hurst Community College combines outstanding facilities with a real commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive school and department.
We are seeking an experienced colleague to build upon our recent improvements in GCSE outcomes and lead the PE department in the next stages of its development.
The facilities are extensive as we have a large leisure centre on site, with a gym, sports hall, large multi-sports halls and a dance studio. We are also in the process of applying for grant funding for a floodlit 3G pitch. We currently run a variety of sports trips, from our popular ski trip to international sporting fixtures.
The benefits package includes free on-site parking, lap-top, an on-site gym and an on-site nursery. We are a rural school within easy driving distance of Reading, Newbury and Basingstoke.
For an application pack, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0118 9817474.
Closing date: Noon, Wednesday 20 March 2019
