We wish to appoint a Head of PE to lead and manage our PE Department from 1 September 2018. We have excellent sporting facilities with a fully equipped Sports Hall and a large playing field.
The successful candidate will be a committed and experienced teacher, who is a highly effective classroom practitioner, and has management aspirations within PE.
The role will include teaching PE across KS3 to KS5 and all ability ranges, providing leadership and management of staff, developing enrichment opportunities for students and demonstrating the ability and commitment to securing high standards of student achievement. You will also be responsible for developing students’ knowledge and awareness of a healthy lifestyle and wellbeing.
The post is suitable for a fully qualified teacher looking to take a step into a middle leadership role and develop their career in an environment offering outstanding training and progression programmes to all.
