Preston is a Business & Enterprise Academy and part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership In our most recent Ofsted inspection it was highlighted that ‘The school provides a wide and varied curriculum. It’s theme is enterprise with the intent to ‘bring learning to life and life to learning. Leaders have planned carefully what pupils need to learn They have ordered the content of each subject logically. This means that pupils build their understanding effectively over time.’

Our current Head of PE is relocating and we require a Subject Leader for PE to lead the department in the next stage of its development. The department has gone through a significant period of change over the past few years and is now a strong and highly successful team with outstanding results at Key Stage 4. You will be well-supported by staff, senior leaders and governors in further improving the quality of teaching & learning & academic outcomes in the department so that PE is truly ‘Bringing Learning to Life & Life to Learning’ for all students.
