Aldar Education is currently seeking for a Head of Phase - Kindergarten at Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School (ABO) in Abu Dhabi commencing on September 2021 for Academic year 2021 - 2022.

In September 2021, ABO will be starting its 3rd year of opening. ABO follows the US Curriculum and is a large and thriving Charter School, with @ 1500 students, from KG1 (FS2) to Grade 4(Year 5). The ABO aim is to be a collaborative, student centred school, to constantly develop staff, to develop stakeholder voice and to keep evolving in our practice, so demonstrating a change agent attitude.

The successful candidate must have a secure knowledge of teaching and learning and a track record of implementing effective strategies to raise standards and plug gaps in learning and will be able to demonstrate leadership skills/experiences at a variety of levels and to be effective in working collaboratively in a team.

The successful candidate will be able to model outstanding planning and teaching and learning strategies. The successful candidate will have a clear vision of what needs to be accomplished/implemented to move a KG area forward towards Outstanding and be able to coach and motivate others when support is needed.

Qualifications: 

•  Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood and Development or B.Sc degree with PGCE is essential. Desirable Master’s degree

• 6-years’ experience of which 4 consecutive years teaching performance exceeds standards and expectations as evidenced by performance appraisal.

• to have the required level in Arabic and/ or English language or the language applied in the curriculum of the school and determined by the relevant authority in UAE.

• Leadership experience is desirable.
