Head of Physical Education

THE ROLE

Pimlico Academy is seeking an outstanding Head of Physical Education to start in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to lead an exceptional department with a sector-leading approach to the teaching of Physical Education and with the ambition to develop student engagement with the subject across all key stages. The role will include the opportunity to consolidate an already strong department, work with exceptionally well-qualified and passionate teachers, and to lead the PE department into its exciting future.

The Head of Department will provide leadership for the relevant Academy department, developing the quality of teaching and ensuring high quality learning takes place and that outstanding attainment and progress is secured at all key stages.

Pimlico Academy is a flourishing mixed, non-selective secondary school and sixth form based in Pimlico, London, admitting students from the ages of 11 to 18.

We are part of Future Academies, a Multi-Academy Trust which includes three primary schools and seven secondary schools in and around London and Hertfordshire.
