Embley is a leading independent selective day and boarding school for over 680 children aged 2 to 18 (boarding from Year 7) on the edge of the New Forest National Park, situated on a stunning 130-acre campus in the beautiful Hampshire countryside.

Our public exam results demonstrate the significance of our academic approach and how we achieve the very best outcomes for students at Embley. Our latest A Level results place us in the top 5% of schools nationally. This is evidence that the Embley way gets the best from every child. The majority of our students gained at least one and in many cases two grades above their baseline grades.

We are an Apple Distinguished School (2024-2027) which recognises our focus on providing a forward thinking and dynamic education. Our Prep School was one of seven schools across the country to be a finalist in the Independent Schools of the Year Awards.

Location

The school is located on the outskirts of Romsey and within easy reach of Southampton, Winchester and Salisbury, and an hour’s drive to London.
