Independent day and boarding school – girls and boys  400 pupils: 3 to 18 years  

Head of Stover Preparatory School.  

This is an exciting opportunity to lead, manage and shape the Preparatory School.   The successful candidate will report to the Executive Head Teacher, as a member of the school’s Senior Leadership Team.  

Applicants should be progressive, dynamic and enthusiastic, with ability  to plan strategically, inspire and exercise good judgement.

Stover School is a mixed, all-through independent Church of England day and boarding school with sixth form, situated in Newton Abbot, Devon. There are approximately 500 pupils at the school, between the ages of 3-18.

Stover School was established in 1932 and remains on its original site. The school started life as a day and boarding school for girls between the ages of 11-18, a nursery was opened in 1994 and boys were admitted in 2002. 

The school is continuously expanding and recent developments include an all-weather sports dome, sports pavilion and Drama studio.
