Sheffield Girls’ are seeking an outstanding PSHE teacher to lead this vital area of school life on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave. 

The successful candidate will be required to lead and teach PSHE within the curriculum from Y6-11 and be responsible for the coordination of our Wellbeing programme. This will include coordinating associated activities, planning schemes of work and organising off timetable days, whole school events and workshops for parents.

No particular academic subject specialism is required.

This role will be until Easter 2020 in the first instance.

PSHE is taken very seriously at Sheffield Girls’ and is taught by a team of specialist teachers in the Senior School and by class teachers in the Junior School. 

The PSHE department contributes to the teaching of citizenship and promoting fundamental British values, which is integral to the implicit and explicit teaching and learning of all departments at Sheffield Girls’.
