Head of Religious Education

The Role:

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, inspiring and innovative Head of RE, with a genuine commitment to the strong Catholic/Christian ethos of this thriving Preparatory School.  The Head of Religious Education (RE) will be line-managed by the Deputy Head (Academic) but will report ultimately to the Headmaster. 

You will take responsibility for the RE Department in the school, including its resources and development, and teach RE across the whole school. You will be responsible for managing both the staff and budget within the RE department, and lead and support the planning, implementation, evaluation and development of the RE curriculum. 

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will be a practising Catholic, have excellent communication skills and have ambition for both the status of RE in the school and for personal professional development.
