Head of School

This Head of School post will be responsible for the day to day leadership of Greet Primary School, part of Create Partnership Trust. The post, under the line management of the Strategic Head of Improvement and Learning will focus on Greets performance, to ensure that it continues to improve and to provide excellent leadership and management, enabling pupils and staff to demonstrate optimum performance.

You will be an experienced and high performing senior leader with a proven track record of making a difference to pupils’ achievement.  You will understand the importance of internal communications systems and performance data and will be able to demonstrate your ability both to motivate staff and to hold them to account. You will have a deep understanding of high quality teaching and curriculum delivery as well as the ability to provide professional leadership and inspiration for the whole school community. You will also make a significant contribution to the Trust through membership of the MAT Leadership Group (MLG) where all Headteachers and their Deputies work in collaboration with the Create Central team to develop joint policy and practice.

The two successful candidates will work in partnership, bring extra capacity, fresh ideas and leadership innovation, with a particular focus on developing pupils’ skills for 21st century learning, helping them to aspire to the levels they deserve, in order to live and function effectively as the next generation.  Both will be able to demonstrate a commitment to Create’s values of excellence, partnership and perseverance.
