St Helen’s Catchment area covers the neighbouring villages of Bluntisham and Colne, on the edge of the Cambridgeshire Fens.  In winter, the flat meadows surrounding the village are often covered with flood-water and become a haunt of wild swans, and when frozen, is the venue of the Bury Fen ice-skating championships.

Bluntisham itself lies on the Meridan Line and was the childhood home of the writer Dorothy L Sayers.

Bluntisham is one of the parishes of the District of Huntingdonshire and our nearest neighbours are Colne, Earith and Somersham.  The village lies approximately 16 miles from Cambridge and 35 miles from Peterborough and we are in easy reach of the A1 and A14.
